Art by Sam

Samantha Douglas Scott is passionate about reusing found materials. Living on the East Coast of Scotland has been a source of inspiration for her.

Sam’s art journey began around 7 yrs ago when she found some small pieces of sea washed slate along the shoreline, it was a medium she loved to paint. She quickly found some local old farm buildings that were being taken down and with permission collected some of the roof slates for a larger canvas. Since then she has been collecting other items along the shorelines. Now Sea Tumbled Pottery has also become a medium she loves to work with.

I hope that you will enjoy the results as much as we do.
